- -The new District #2 Volunteer Fire Brigrade was officially started on February 21, 1970. -The first meeting for the members to be held in the Fire Hall was on November 24, 1970. -The First Fire Chief was Mr Stuart Haley. -First Fire truck was an Oil Truck - a 1960 Model with a 2600 gallon tank.
